Introducing Badges 🏅

We’ve just dropped something new and exciting in the Cheddar app: Badges! They’re a fun way to track your progress and they come with rewards.

What Are Badges? 🏅

Badges are little rewards you unlock by hitting milestones on Cheddar. They celebrate how you save, shop, and share.

Each time you earn a badge, you’ll likely unlock a Boost: a one-time cashback bonus you can use on your next checkout that increases rates across the app.

How to Earn Badges 💥

You can earn badges by:

- Saving cashback: Get badges when your lifetime savings hit £5, £10, £25, £50, and more.

- Buying gift cards: Earn badges for buying 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 cards, and more.

- Smartly spending on gift cards: Hit spend goals like £100, £250, £500 or £1,000.

- Inviting friends: Bring 1, 2, 5, or 10 friends to Cheddar and get rewarded!

The more you do, the more badges (and boosts) you’ll unlock.

What’s a Boost? 🎁

Most badge come with a Boost: a one-time bonus that gives you extra cashback when you buy a gift card. Activate them on the shop tab or at checkout and enjoy the upgrade!

They come in 3 tiers:

• Bronze - entry level boost, with an increase in some cashback rates

• Silver - a larger boost, applied to more brands

• Gold - the highest boost possible, applied across all brands
